And what does the Lord
require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and
to walk humbly with
your God
Micah
6:8
Why
Kingdom?
It has been said, that the best form of government would be that of a
benevolent King. He would rule with fairness, authority and justice. He
would watch out for the best interests of his subjects. He would
earn their respect. His focus would be serving others, he would
put their needs before His own. He would be loved, because He proves
that He loved them first.
Why
a castle logo?
The castle is the home of the King. He resides there. The
townspeople, those He rules live in the countryside around the castle.
Each day the castle is open and people are free to enter and leave.
They have easy access to the castle.
But, when there is danger, the people are invited into the castle so that
the King can protect them. This is much how our society could
work. The government could protect the citizenry on issues that are
too large or unmanageable for individuals to handle.
A castle also has turrets around the border. This is much like the
"silos" we have in today's society. The difference is that in a
castle they
are connected together so one can navigate from one to another. If modern
social services are going to be successful and efficient, the
"silos" need to be connected to each other to produce better
results for the society.
Why
the rainbow?
When we view a rainbow, it always appears as if it is an arch. But, if we
weren't earth-bound, and could view it from above, it would form a full
circle. If we could transcend our historical perspective and could
rise above our issues, we too could see the rainbow in it's fullest.
